Contraline is a medical device company based in Charlottesville, Virginia. We are developing the first long-lasting, non-hormonal, and reversible male contraceptive. Our mission is to improve the reproductive health of patients worldwide by commercializing state-of-the-art medical products.
Contraline is seeking an Office Manager to support the daily office, laboratory, administrative, and accounting tasks.
• Secretarial duties including answering the phone and taking of meeting notes
• Manage accounts payable including scanning and filing of invoices
• Manage office and lab supplies inventory and equipment maintenance
• Shipping and receiving of packages and check-in of items to the lab inventory
• Assist with meetings/events coordination including scheduling and logistics
• Document management including filing, faxing, copying and shredding
• Office errands
• Monthly checks of fire extinguishers and lab safety stations
• Maintain general orderliness of break areas and restocking of these areas
• Minimum of Associate’s Degree, B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
• 3-4 years of overall professional experience in administration and accounting
• Excellent professional communication and organizational skills
• Experienced in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, and Google software products
• Experience working in a laboratory setting is desired
• Exceptional multi-tasker with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining vigilant attention to details
